Phone Basic Features: Campus Phone Codes

These codes are for multi-line or single line phones.  For additional questions, call the Service Desk at 578-3375.

Feature Access Codes for the G3 (Multi-Line Phone):
 

USER GUIDE FOR MULTI-LINE SETS:

NOTE: (XX = list item number)

Program:

  • AD button - #80
  • personal list - #801XX
  • group list - #802XX

Access:

  • personal list - *0XX
  • group list - *1XX

Automatic CALLBACK

  • activate - press the 'Auto-Callback' button programmed on the phone
  • deactivate - press the 'Auto-Callback' button programmed on the phone

CALL FORWARDING (Please NOTE calls may not be forwarded off campus)

  • forward all calls - *2 plus the 5-digit extension forwarding to
  • forward busy/don't answer (3 rings) - *3 plus the 5-digit extension forwarding to
  • cancel call forwarding - #22

CALL PICKUP - *7 (or press the 'Call Pickup' button programmed on the phone)

CALL HOLD - Press the 'HOLD' button on the phone

LAST NUMBER DIALED - #73 (or press the 'Last # Dialed' button programmed on the phone

SEND ALL CALLS

  • activate - press the 'Send All Calls' button programmed on the phone
  • deactivate - press the 'Send All Calls' button programmed on the phone
     

To verify the number you are calling from: Dial 4-1000

Conference Call - 2 people are on line press conference button, dial the 5-digit extension, press Conference again.  To add another person, repeat.
 

USER GUIDE FOR SINGLE-LINE SETS:

Abbreviated Dialing:

  • Program personal list - #80.....1(XX).... dial number (XX = item number, e.g. 01)
  • Use personal list - *0(XX)
  • Program group list - #80...2(XX)....dial number (XX = item number, e.g. 01)
  • Use group list - *1(XX)

Automatic Callback:

  • Press flash, dial *5 to activate against busy station.
  • To deactivate, lift handset, hear dial tone, dial #55.

Call Forwarding:  Please NOTE calls may not be forwarded off campus.

  • Forward all calls - *2 + 5 digit extension
  • Forward no answer (after 3 rings) or busy - *3 + 5 digit extension
  • Cancel call forwarding - #22
  • Call Pickup - *7

Conference

  • With first call on the line...press flash... dial second number...press flash again
  • Last number dialed (redial) - #73

Send Calls:**

  • *8 to activate
  • #88 to deactivate
     

NOTE: Call forwarding is a feature that the user controls.  They can decide where the call will forward to.  "Send calls" is a feature that we program.  The calls always "roll" to the same destination (usually voicemail).  If the user activates "send all calls," the calls go immediately to that destination.
