General Information

In an effort to enhance security, we recommend the following options for all students living Residential Halls, Student Apartments, or who use personal laptops that use Microsoft Windows in order to better secure their PCs:

Make sure Windows Firewall is Enabled

NOTE: Every virus is different and there are no tools that can fix every problem.

Anti-Virus

Please keep Windows updated to the latest version to help prevent viruses, and contact your departmental IT or ResLife IT for specific Anti-Virus recommendations.
