SNAP: Orphaned Activities

This article has not been updated recently and may contain dated material.

In Moodle, if you have a course using the Snap theme that contains more sections / weeks than are set in the Course Format settings, there will be sections that are orphaned and hidden from view. This often happens when importing or restoring a course, considering Moodle organizes courses to have 10 sections / weeks by default.

To Show Orphaned Activities in your SNAP Course:

1. To begin click on Course Tools in your desired course.

course tools select SNAP

2. Once directed to the Course Tools page Locate the Course Settings and click it

course settings selection SNAP

3. In the Course Settings page locate the Course Format tab. Change the Number of Sections to the number of weeks / topics presented in your course.
