Wireless: iPad - Connecting with LSU IOT

LSU Internet of Things (IOT) Network contains more information on LSU IOT including how to submit a connection request.

To Connect to lsuiot on an iPad:

  1. From the home screen, open the Settings app. Tap the Wi-Fi tab and tap on Other...

  2. Enter the Name as lsuiot. It is important to verify that  lsuiot  is all lowercase and one word. The first letter is an L, not an I.
     name is L S U I O T and security is W P A 2

     
  3. Tap on the Security tab to enter the security settings.
     
  4. Ensure Private Wi-Fi Address is unchecked or off.
     
  5. Select WPA2.
    private wi-fi is toggled off

     
  6. Return to the previous screen and enter the Password that was provided to you from your ticket or email from LSU ITS Security Operations.
     
  7. Tap Join and confirm that you are connected to lsuiot.
